How the GOLAZO album works: 36 cards, 4 pages, one collection

What is actually inside the album, how cards are graded, and the fastest honest route to filling all four pages.

The album is the reason to keep answering questions. It holds 36 cards split across four pages of nine, and every card you own changes how the quiz treats you. This is a plain explanation of the structure, because the game deliberately does not stop to explain all of it while you play.

The four pages

Each page is a themed set of nine cards. They are not interchangeable: a card belongs to exactly one page, and a page only completes when all nine slots are filled.

  • Club Icons. The clubs whose history shows up most often in quiz questions.
  • The Legends. Individual players, drawn as back views in plain kits rather than portraits.
  • Trophy Room. The competitions themselves, from continental cups to the world stage.
  • Football Nations. National teams with a real tournament record behind them.

Completing a page triggers a Legend Story: a short run of facts pulled from the same questions that page's cards appear in. It is the one moment the game stops being a quiz and hands you something to actually read.

Rarity is a supply rule, not a power level

Cards come in common, rare and legendary. A legendary card is not stronger than a common one. Rarity only describes how often a card appears when a pack is opened, which means the last few slots in a page are usually the slow ones.

Duplicates are not wasted

When a pack gives you a card you already own, it converts into shards. Commons are worth one, rares three, legendaries eight. Shards are the anti-frustration currency: in the album you can spend them to buy a specific missing card outright, at ten, twenty five or sixty shards depending on its rarity.

This matters for planning. If you are one common away from finishing a page, buying it with shards is almost always faster than hoping a pack coughs it up.

Owning a card pays you back

Every card is linked to the questions it appears in. When a question comes up about a player, club, trophy or nation whose card is already in your album, that question pays double stars. You will see a badge on screen when it happens.

The practical effect is a loop that rewards depth over breadth. A player with fifteen cards earns faster per round than a player with three, because more of their questions are doubled. Collecting is not a side activity, it is the difficulty setting.

A sensible route to 36

  1. 1.Play your rounds, bank stars, and open packs as soon as you can afford them. Sitting on stars does nothing.
  2. 2.Ignore rarity when picking a target page. Chase whichever page is closest to done.
  3. 3.Once a page is two or three cards short, check your shard balance before opening another pack.
  4. 4.Complete the page, read the Legend Story, then move to the next closest page.

Thirty six cards is a small enough number to actually finish, which is the point. It is a collection with an ending, not a treadmill.
